FAQ’s

Over the years we have been asked many questions, so here we have answered as many as possible.

How do I enrol for a course?

It is very easy to enrol on one of our courses. You should go to our ‘Enrol‘ page to download our course application form. Then you should complete the form in full and email it back to us. Once your application has been approved you should then make your course fee payment.

How do I pay for a course?

Payments are made online through our website on our Enrol page. Payments in the UK can be made by bank transfer or online using your debit or credit card. Payments outside the UK must be done using our online payment service only on the Enrol page.

Do I have to complete the course in a fixed timescale?

The choice is yours, depending on how much time you have available, Plus everyone learns at a different pace. We do offer a flexible approach to our courses. A guide to the durations is on each course page on our website.

Who can I contact when I have questions or problems with my course?

Once you have enrolled on your course you will be given all the contact information you need. You will be appointed a one-to-one course tutor/design coach who will work with you throughout your course. and will be available to help you every step of the way.

What if I donʼt have Skype or a webcam?

If you don’t have Skype or a webcam, you can arrange ‘Live Chat’ appointments through your online campus student account. This is done by logging on at the same time as your design or training coach and using the live messaging service on the online campus.

Do you have to have qualifications to study any of these courses?

It will really depend on which course you wish to study. If you have never studied or trained in any of the subject areas we offer, then it is always advisable to start at the beginners level. If however you are unsure, please discuss with us first before enrolling.

Can I get additional help with my studies if I have a problem with them?

Yes, that is the aim of the Creative Design School, we are here to help at all times. You can contact your course tutor/design coach through our online campus app at any time for guidance or support. This is in addition to your Skype sessions which you will arrange with your course tutor/design coach when you get started.

What are the available time for Skype sessions each week?

Skype sessions are arranged between you and your course tutor/design coach. These are usually during the week but days and times are flexible. 

Is there an exam at the end of the course?

There are final exams for our main courses levels 1-5. Once you have completed all of your modules you will then complete a final exam which will be project-based. This is carried out online through our online campus. You will decide with your course tutor/design coach when you will want to do this. There are no exams for our Short Courses

Where do I get my assignments and study material?

All of your study material and assignments will be made available through your own student account. You will receive information on how to access all of these after you enrol and your student account has been activated.

When are assignments and projects marked and feedback given from my design or training coach?

All projects and assignments will be checked, marked and feedback given by your design & training coach on a Monday or Friday of each week. It usually takes 5 working days for you to receive your results, but it depends on when you submit your work.

Does the School close for holidays?

Yes, there are holidays throughout the year which are posted on our online campus. You will be able to see these on your student account at the start of each year.

What happens if for some reason I cannot access my student account?

If for some reason you are unable to access our online campus or your student account, you will still be able to contact your course tutor/design coach via email and send your submission. You will also be able to continue with any Skype lessons.

It is also very important that you back up and keep copies of your course submissions etc.

We also keep backups of our student’s submissions. This is all explained in detail in our Online Campus and Student Users Guide which you receive once you have enrolled.

When do I start my courses?

Once you have enrolled and made your payment you will have full access to your course within 5 working days – when you start is up to you.

How do I get my Username and Password for the online ‘Student Studio’?

This is emailed to you directly once we receive you enrolment payment online and you application has been processed, which can take up to 5 working days.

How do I submit my assignments?

All of your projects and assignments are submitted through your student account. You will be given full instructions on how to do these once your student account has been set up. Your course tutor/design coach will go through everything with you before you get started.

How do I contact the Creative Design School?

For any enquiries or further information, you can contact us at any time by email. Our main email address can be found on our ‘Contact‘ page. You will also be given other contact details once you have enrolled with us.

If I decide not to continue with my course, do I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we don’t give refunds after 7 days of receiving payment, plus if you have chosen the instalment payment option for your course, you must pay the remainder of your course fee.
