OUR COURSES & HOW THEY WORK

‘It couldn’t be easier studying with us.’

You just have to have access to the Internet, Skype and a passion for learning. All of our courses have been designed and developed so that they can be applied to each and every individual depending on their skills and knowledge.

There are 4 category options to study with us:

SHORT COURSES

Each of our short courses usually lasts between 4 and 8 weeks and focuses on either starting new or adding to the skills and knowledge you seek or already have. The choice is yours when it comes to the time you want to spend on a short course. This can be either weekly, fortnightly or monthly, but let us know which you prefer before you start.

MAIN DIPLOMA COURSES - Levels 1 - 3

There are 3 levels of main diploma courses. the first are the beginners’ courses, followed by the level 2 or 3 diploma course. These levels cover our Graphic Design Courses and our Textile Design Courses.

If you have no experience in the subject area you are interested in studying, then we would recommend that you enrol on the beginners’ diploma course. But, if you have had formal training or have completed a beginners’ course before, then you would obviously enrol on either level 2 or 3 (which applies to the Advanced Graphic Design Diploma Course only).

The average time for completing our Diploma Courses is 12 months. Some have taken less time (6 months in some cases), but it all depends on the time you have available. The maximum time you can take to complete a Diploma Course with us is 12 months, but you can apply for an extension if you find yourself taking longer. The modules have been designed to complete as one module each month – which is just a guide.

SPECIALIST DESIGN DIPLOMA COURSES - Level 4

Our specialist courses focus on specific areas and professions which provides our students with specialist skills instead of general skills. For example, if you have completed our graphic design diploma course and would like to specialise or add a specific area to your skills, you could then progress on our Advertising Diploma Course for example.

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL 5 COURSES

All of our Professional Level 5 Training courses are designed for individuals who are now either working in their creative and design sectors and wish to increase or refresh their skill levels or for businesses, studios etc who would like to provide further training for their staff.

STUDENT PROGRESSION

We encourage our students to plan their courses so that they are progressive. If you have no experience or knowledge in the subject you are wanting to study, it is always best to start at the beginners level and then progress to the next levels. Please get in touch with us to help you to decide which level is best for you. It will also help us to get a good idea of what it is you would like to achieve with your career so that we can guide you is the best possible way.

If there is something that you would like to ask us, please let us know and we will guide you as best we can. Alternatively, have a look at our FAQ’S page to see if your question is there as we have tried to answer as many questions as possible.

It is always a good idea to discuss with us your ambitions and goals for the future before you decide to enrol on your course. You can do this by contacting us by email or by arranging a Skype appointment to go over everything with you in more detail.
