Over the years we have been asked many questions, so here we have answered as many as possible.

Who can I contact when I have questions or problems with my course?

You will be given the contact information of your personal tutor who you can contact at anytime through your Student Study.

Do you have to have qualifications to study any of these courses?

It will really depend on which course you wish to study. If you have never studied or trained in any of the subject areas we offer, then it is always advisable to start at the beginners level. If however you are unsure, please discuss with us first before enrolling.

When do I start my courses?

Once you have enrolled and made your payment you will have full access to your course within 5 working days – when you start is up to you.

How do I get my Username and Password for the online ‘Student Studio’?

This is emailed to you directly once we receive you enrolment payment online and you application has been processed, which can take up to 5 working days.

Can I pay for my Course by instalments?

There are options available and you can see these at our Admission + Study option page.

Can I get additional help with my studies if I have a problem with them?

Yes, that is the aim of the Creative Design School, we are here to help at all times. You can ask questions through your Student Studio or arrange an online Skype consultation

If I decide not to continue with my course, do I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we don’t give refunds after 7 days of receiving payment, plus if you have chosen the instalment payment option for your course, you must pay the remainder of your course fee. This is why we have provided the option for individuals to enrol on a ‘Taster Course’ prior to enrolling on our main diploma courses.

How do I enrol for a course?

It is easy to enrol on our courses, all you have to do is choose your course and click on the pay now button. Once enrolled you will receive by email your own username and password plus instructions how to access (this can take up to 5 working days to be issued to you)

How do I pay for a course?

Payments are made online through this website using Paypal, but don’t worry if you don’t have a Paypal account as you can pay easily with you debit or credit card.

Do I have to complete the course in a fixed timescale?

All of our courses are flexible even though we state a completion time, this is only to give you an idea of how long you could spend on your course. But, is it totally up to you how much you study and when you complete your assignments and course.

Where do I get my assignments and study material?

All of your study material and assignments will be made available through your own student studio. Here you will be able to make contact with your personal coach and also network with other students.

How do I submit my assignments?

Everything is sent and received through your Student Studio which can be accessed on any computer anywhere.

Is there an exam at the end of the course?

Yes, there will be an exam which will be awarded with a CDS Diploma Certificate

What happens if for some reason I cannot access my student studio?

If for some reason you are unable to access our eCampus or your Student Studio you will still be able to contact your design or training coach via email and send you submission. You will also be able to continue with any Skype lessons.

It is also very important that you back-up and keep copies of your course submissions etc.

We also keep back ups of our students submissions. This is all explained in detail in our eCampus and Student Users Guide which you receive once you have enrolled.

Does the School close for holidays?

Yes, there are holidays through the year which you will be able to see within the eCampus Student Studio, and our website.

When are assignments and projects marked and feedback given from my design or training coach?

All projects and assignments will be checked, marked and feedback given by your design & training coach on a Monday or Friday of each week. It usually takes 5 working days for you to receive your results, but it depends on when you submit your work.

What are the available time for Skype appointments each week?

Skype appointments need to be booked at least 1 week in advance. These are available on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday of each week from 9am to 4pm.

What if I donʼt have Skype or a webcam?

If you don’t have Skype or a webcam, you can arrange ‘Live Chat’ appointments through your eCampus Student Studio. This is done by logging on at the same time as your design or training coach and using the live messaging service in the eCampus.
